Celebration of the life of Mon'Cherie Tameeka Wilkins-Goodrich

Mon’Cherie Tameeka Wilkins-Goodrich, 50, of Columbus, Ohio, peacefully passed away on May 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Columbus to Mary and Leon Wilkins, Mon’Cherie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (“MyMy”), mentor, and leader. She shared 27 loving years with her husband, Daryl Darnell Goodrich Sr., and was the proud mother of four sons: Dewey Anthony Rice Jr., Ja’lan Anthony-Lamar Walker, Daryl Darnell Goodrich Jr., and D’Angelo Terrell Goodrich.

A proud graduate of Eastmoor High School, Franklin University, and Ashland University, Mon’Cherie dedicated more than 22 years of service to Franklin County Job and Family Services, where she served as Deputy Director of Customer Service. She was admired for her compassion, wisdom, leadership, and ability to make everyone feel like family. Known for her beautiful smile, flawless style, and vibrant spirit, Mon’Cherie loved spending time with family and friends, shopping, enjoying great meals, and watching her favorite mystery and thriller shows. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, children, grandchildren, mother, extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by her love and kindness.
